As calculus teachers ourselves, we understand the difficulty of engaging students with exciting and relevant content. Calc Medic offers the teaching resources you need to get your students collaborating and communicating about calculus in a way that leads to deep conceptual understanding.

Sarah Stecher
Sarah teaches Precalculus and AP Calculus at East Kentwood High School. Her mission is to make challenging mathematics content accessible and engaging for students through discovery and collaboration. She strives to foster a classroom environment centered around student discourse, where all students feel capable and comfortable making contributions. Sarah is a graduate of the University of Michigan. Follow her teaching adventures at @sarah_stecher.
Barb Montgomery
Barbara Montgomery teaches AP Calc at East Kentwood High School, the most diverse school in Michigan serving students from over 60 countries and varied backgrounds. On top of her day job, Barb leads one-day and weeklong AP workshops, presents at conferences and is an AP reader. Barb is passionate about experiential mathematics and encourages students to investigate how math is accessed outside of the classroom. She is a graduate of Michigan Technological University and Grand Valley State University. Barbara enjoys running, reading, traveling and watching hockey.
