Dedicate one class period for a review activity that circulates groups of students through six stations.

Teaching Tips

Post the review questions around the room before students arrive. Create groups based on ability or other parameters that will allow maximum conversation and collaboration between students. As groups rotate through the stations, their work will focus on the major understandings of Unit 5: graph interpretation, derivatives in context, tabular/numeric analysis, function analysis, optimization, and implicit differentiation. After completing the circuit, students may want to ask about particular questions or dive into additional example problems.
