Overall the quiz went well. Students did well calculating percentiles and z-scores. Where they lost the most points were with the interpretations and conclusions, partially because they often left them off completely. We find that when questions ask a student to do more than one thing it is easy for the them to only complete the computation portion and not the interpretation. We saw this with a question that asked students to find and interpret a z-score. Many students only calculated and didn’t interpret. Work hard to break this habit early.
